Graduates are starting to schedule their sessions as their senior year or semester winds down and they prepare to graduate. They hear the song of birds celebrating the arrival of spring and the long warm days of the season. Frequent rain encourages the flowers and fauna to bloom and share their magnificence with everyone. Outdoor portraits are my favorite type of session however on a cold rainy day my studio is a wonderful place and as winter tries to hold on those days are not unusual. I like to start in the studio with a dressy outfit and then head outside for an afternoon of making beautiful photographs with gorgeous clients in their fanciest clothes. We still promote the purchase of photographs printed on canvas or photo paper. This will enhance the lifetime of the image allowing many generations to enjoy it. Buying digital files continues to be a popular menu item, however, people are happiest with prints to display and share.
