I like this time of the year, the hot temps have passed, hopefully, and images of a beautiful fall can easily be imagined. We have been shooting senior, child, business portraits or headshots, and families in our West Little Rock studio. This time of the year we shoot three to four seniors each day including saturdays. These are yearbook or drape sessions which take about 30 to 40 minutes to shoot and then about 1.5 hours to show and place an order. Most seniors and their parents can go through the whole process and get it done in one trip. Since I am limited to one outfit, a wrap-around top that ties in the back, I have to be creative with the poses I have them do. My salesperson lets me know very soon if a pose is not desired by the seniors or their parents, there is no good reason to waste time. We encourge them to bring their senior ring so we can feature it in some photographs. My seniors like to trade wallets with their friends and teachers, so we sell a lot of wallets. We place the studio name in the lower right hand corner so each one is a small advertisment for my business.
I have had pleny of opportunity to fly my drone for real estate marketing. I used to have a great deal of anxiety when I had to fly now I get up above the trees for a great view.
