Graduation Season

May 30, 2021

We are working with more and more business clients needing professional portraits for advertising, promotion, and marketing. Our family, child, and senior portraits are still in demand with the onset of the summer and pretty days outside.  Last week was two graduations of schools I have tremendous respect for, Catholic High for Boys and Mount Saint Mary Academy, all of my children attended there and were very prepared for college when that came.  I attended North Little Rock High School, so rooting for the Rockets never came easy for me as they were our arch enemies on the football field and basketball court.  My wife is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary and the thought that my children would go somewhere else was never contemplated. Last year everyone was dealing with Covid-19 and graduations had to be delayed and adapted to adhere to the health requirements of the time.  Some were shifted to outdoors with only a few people allowed to attend however this made for great photos with the natural light found outside.  Graduations photography usually start with a large group assembled on the stage.  Thanks to the new cameras we can record enough resolution to see each of the grads.  Then we position ourselves to make the photo of the grad receiving their diploma. We had to make sure that we had access to the best area for this and we didn't block the view for too many. Graduation photos become a part of a family.
